Be a Smart Shopper!

I know all of you guys are tend to shop a lot of things. Well I can't avoid also, since you know the trends are keep changing, that's why we have to keep updating our closet and re-new our old clothes to the new trends. But if you always shop without being the smart one, you will tend to lost all of the money, and it can lead you to bankruptcy.
well, maybe you have to be a smart-shopper, because you know, the sale is here, the sale is there and everywhere. You sometimes can't afford to not come to the sale of some products, especially your favorite products. And here we've got some tips for you to be a smart-shopper.

1. Set a budget
I believe you should limit yourself for spending too much money. So you may make a budgeting before you shop. Maybe one month you spend IDR 500,000 - 1,000,000. Don't ever over from the limit.

2. Buy what you need, not what you want
I know some of you love to shop because you want something. You see something cute, and you want to keep it in your closet, that's why you buy it. Well, you have to be careful. You'll be like Rebecca Bloomwood in Confessions of a Shopaholic that tend to shop anything without think about it first. Now you have to decide, whether you truly need for your clothes later on, or you'll just buy it to keep it on your closet. You make take some notes every month, the clothes that you really need to buy.

 3. Buy clothes on sale
As my suggestion, when you see a new arrival product, don't just directly buy it. You can wait for two or three weeks, later on there would be a SALE on those products that you want to purchase earlier ago. As we know also, every season there would be a sale, and oh especially end of year sale is the best time when you want to buy something. it's totally fabulous! hey but still, think of something you really need, not just want.

4. Choose quality over quantity
Quality is much more important even though they're more expensive, but yet they will be last longer. Learn how to calculate the cost-per-wear of clothing before you buy. You can do this by dividing the price of the item by the number of times you expect to wear it. For example, if you buy a trendy top for $20 that you’ll probably only wear twice, it will cost you $10 each time you wear that top. However, if you purchase a $100 pair of jeans that you’re likely to wear 50 times, the cost-per-wear is only $2.

5.Buy what fits
It's really important to try on your clothes before you purchase it. Because sometimes, when you buy something without try it before, and ended up your clothes is disappointing or even doesn't look good on you. You are tend to don't want to use it anymore and just leave it on your closet. Well, be careful before you buy it ;)

Well hopefully all of those tips are useful enough for you StreetStyler! Be a smart-shopper ;)
